Consistently levelling up since 2018, Melbourne based Vatic have been busily making a name for themselves in the local metalcore scene. With recent singles “Departure”, “Through The Eyes of a Snake”, and “Reaver”, they have followed up their debut EP “Inhibition” by establishing a precedent of quality that they plan on continuing to build upon.
Their sound, made up of a beautiful contrast of melodic catchy choruses alongside hard-hitting heavy instrumentals, has led them to constantly play alongside big Aussie acts like Thornhill, Bloom, Diamond Construct, Void of Vision, and Pridelands.

They create a sinister atmosphere and throw in huge instrumental grooves with bittersweet melodic choruses and gritty emotional screams.
Vatic have refined their sound placing the listener in a melancholic atmosphere, relentlessly crushing through industrial breakdowns and grooves, which ebb and flow through what is their biggest step forward yet.

This track is about the haunted house that resides at 217 East Mercer, where the corpses are hidden beneath the floors and ghosts walk between the walls.
The inspiration for this track draws from iconic horror films and images, setting the scene for Chance and his visions of woe

- Adam is super nerdy but really embraces learning. He is the one pushing improvement for us all and he represents Vatic’s biggest ambitions
- Zak is by far the quietest, but also the weirdest. He is super into his Anime and loves anything that involves a creative input.
- Dylan just be crazy. He lives that ‘Chaotic Good’ life and embraces each moment as it comes. The man welcomes a good hang and loves meeting people. Dylan is a labrador.
